Tory Burch has just opened a brand-new flagship store at 151 Mercer Street in SoHo, and everyone’s welcome to check it out. This spot is just a short stroll from her very first boutique on Elizabeth Street, which opened back in 2004. Now, nearly two decades later, she’s celebrating her connection to New York City with this exciting new space.
She’s especially proud of how the Mercer Street store reflects the evolution of her brand’s style. It’s a mix of modern design and personal touches, and being in downtown Manhattan feels like a return to where it all began for her.
The store spans 6,000 square feet across multiple levels and blends cultural influences with sleek, minimalist fashion. Working with architect Gwenael Nicolas, Burch designed a space that brings together his design sensibility and her own global inspirations. The store features materials like oak, rattan, and brass, creating a balance between contemporary and classic. Visitors will notice details like wooden and ceramic parquet floors, wicker displays for accessories, and vintage patchwork quilts that highlight handcrafted artistry.
To make the space feel even more personal, Burch added items that hold special meaning for her—like woven baskets hanging from the ceiling that remind her of her childhood kitchen, along with pottery and artwork she’s collected during her travels.
Inside, shoppers will find the full Tory Burch collection, including clothing, shoes, handbags, home items, and the new 151 Mercer handbags. There’s also a special edition of the Lee Radziwill Double Bags, available only at this location.
