At the 30th Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans, Mielle Organics welcomed beauty lovers to its vibrant āMielleverseā experience at the Beauty Con booth. Founder Monique Rodriguez, a regular at the festival, returned with an upgraded pop-up shop that drew plenty of attention.
The booth offered personalized beauty advice and featured celebrity shoutouts for Mielle Organics products. Over the weekend, Rodriguez, who made the leap from registered nurse to CEO, turned heads with her fashion choices. She rocked a black and white polka dot mini dress by Dolce & Gabbana and a bold fuchsia lace runway look from Bronx & Banco.
Rapper and songwriter Lady London also made an appearance and chatted with Fashion Bombās Sheek about her outfit. She wore a Dsquared choker, a top by African designer Kwame Adusei, and Rene Caovilla shoes. Her black and white ensemble contrasted with singer Letoya Luckettās colorful Cynthia Rowley dress and clear yellow heels.
Adding to the style parade, the CEO of Fashion Bomb showed up in a nude sequined dress by Staud, paired with her signature finger waves. She mingled with Luckett, Lance Gross, and other guests, soaking in the energy of the event.
